One SC3Node has an optimal configuration of up to 16 IOs with the Systematic Capability of 3.
That configuration offers very fast response time. As the application grows, the number of SC3Nodes is increased and the IO mix adapted to the application needs. The Nodes are connected seamlessly; the performance of the system is constant despite the increase of the number of nodes and the number of IOs.
SC3Node has fast ethernet communication capability so that two SC3Node can quickly communicate
and thus, allows anyone to design a distributed and modular safety control system.
The safety functions are implemented on a single Node or across multiple nodes.

The SC3Node Safety Controller central
processor is the Main Controller Board (MCB10)
The SC3Node is loaded with features and a very
powerful processor considering the connected peripherals.
This design was done to have very fast response time. It can be used standalone, with the Universal IO boards and with the SC3Node communication module
Processing CPU :
The ICB10 has been designed as an optional communication co-processor board. It is non-interfering with the Safety controller. It provides processing power to support industrial protocols or perform additional tasks. It is applied as an add-on to the MCB10 or is used independently for communications with a black-channel approach.
There is a variant to the SC3Node Safety Controller central processor that combines both the MCB10 and ICB10 in a single board. It yields all the same characteristics and capabilities of each individual boards. Although mounted on the same PCB, the two modules are physically and electrically non-interfering. As for the MCB10, the MCB11 can be used with any of the Universal IO boards.
